Smart GOALS
As a Nutrition and Lifestyle Coach I would like to share with you some tipes and advice on how to get the most from setting up goals.
Here few tips to set up SMART goals
To set up SMART goals for health and wellbeing, follow these guidelines:
1. Specific:
Clearly define your goal. Instead of a vague aim like "exercise more," specify a goal like "walk briskly for 30 minutes every day."
2. Measurable:
Establish criteria to track your progress. For example, you could measure your daily step count or the number of servings of vegetables you eat.
3. Achievable:
Ensure your goal is realistic and attainable. Consider your current health status, time availability, and resources. Gradual changes are often more sustainable.
4. Relevant:
Align your goal with your overall health and wellbeing objectives. Choose activities that contribute to your physical, mental, or emotional wellness.
5. Time-bound:
Set a deadline for achieving your goal. This adds a sense of urgency and helps you stay focused. For instance, aim to achieve a certain level of fitness within three months.
Remember, adapting goals as needed is normal. Regularly assess your progress, celebrate achievements, and adjust your goals based on your evolving needs and circumstances.
