I help healthcare professionals to build a healthy lifestyle

To start a little about me, I've been a nurse for over 10 years. During which I've faced and overcome many of my own challenges maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Through my experiences and training I hope we can work together to create happier healthier lifestyles.

Here some of the reasons why it's difficult to build a healthy lifestyle whilst working as a healthcare professionals:

🌿Demanding work schedules: Nurses often work long and irregular hours, including night shifts, which can disrupt their sleep patterns. Irregular schedules make it difficult to establish consistent exercise routines or plan healthy meals, leading to fatigue and reduced motivation for physical activity.

🌿High-stress levels: Nursing can be a highly stressful profession. Nurses frequently face high-pressure situations, deal with challenging patient cases, and cope with emotional demands. These stressors can lead to emotional eating, reliance on unhealthy coping mechanisms, or difficulty finding time for self-care activities.

🌿Lack of time for self-care: Nurses dedicate themselves to caring for others, often putting their patients' needs ahead of their own. This selfless attitude can result in neglecting their own well-being. The demanding nature of the job may leave little time for exercise, healthy meal preparation, or engaging in relaxation techniques.

🌿Limited access to healthy food options: Nurses may work in healthcare facilities where access to healthy food choices is limited. Cafeterias or vending machines on-site may primarily offer processed or fast food options that are high in calories, unhealthy fats, and added sugars. Limited access to nutritious meals can make it challenging to maintain a healthy diet.

🌿Lack of support and resources: Some healthcare organizations may not prioritize employee well-being or provide adequate support for nurses to adopt a healthy lifestyle. Limited access to wellness programs, fitness facilities, or educational resources can hinder nurses' efforts to make positive lifestyle changes.

To summarize, my goal is to support you by working together as we build healthy habits and choices for a balanced lifestyle.
